Scope
This policy applies only to the website pedema.de. The website mapidu.de and the Mapidu app have their own privacy policies, which are available there.
Visiting the website and server logs
The website is a static page. It has no contact form, no account and no audience measurement.
The website is hosted with Sliplane (Sliplane.io, Wimadev Lukas Mauser, Berlin). When you open it, Sliplane processes technically necessary connection data — in particular IP address, time of access and user agent — and logs IP addresses for a short period to provide and secure the service. For more information, see Sliplane's privacy policy: https://www.iubenda.com/privacy-policy/57501407.
The domain and DNS for pedema.de are provided by united-domains AG (Starnberg, Germany). When you open the website, your device resolves the name pedema.de via their name servers; technical connection data arises in the process.
No cookies, no third-party services
The website sets no cookies and embeds no third-party services — in particular no analytics tools, no Google Fonts, no advertising or social-media scripts and no external CDNs. Fonts, scripts, styles and images are served exclusively from our own server.
Storing settings in your browser
The website stores the chosen language and your settings for color scheme, contrast, text size, motion and the display of terms for people in your browser's local storage (localStorage), so that they are kept for your next visit. These values do not leave your device and are not transmitted to us. You can delete them at any time in your browser settings.
Contacting us by email
If you write to us at contact@pedema.de, we process your email address, any name you provide and the content of your message in order to handle and answer your request.
The mailbox is operated by united-domains AG (Starnberg, Germany), which processes the messages on our behalf.
We delete your request no later than six months after it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
You are under no obligation to contact us; you decide which information you share with us.
Link to mapidu.de
The website links to mapidu.de. Your browser opens mapidu.de only when you follow that link; the privacy policy of mapidu.de applies there. Visiting pedema.de alone loads no content from mapidu.de.
Legal bases
Providing the website and server logs: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable and secure delivery).
Storing your settings in the browser: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in an accessible, readable presentation). Access to local storage requires no consent under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act), because it is strictly necessary to provide the website in the language and presentation you have chosen.
Contacting us by email: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request serves the performance or initiation of a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).
Retention
Server logs at the hosting provider: according to its policies, typically short-term.
Settings in your browser: until you delete them in your browser.
Email enquiries: until the request has been dealt with, then at most six months, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Your rights
Where the legal requirements are met, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to it on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example with the supervisory authority responsible for North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW).
An email to the address above is sufficient to exercise your rights.
Changes
We update this privacy policy when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies (last updated: 13 September 2026).
